Lithobates catesbeianus and Trachemys scripta has caused ecological and economical lost in Europe and Southern American. In recent years, they are becoming two very common alien invasive species in China. Prediction of potential distribution of invasive alien species was regarded as the most effective way to reduce the tremendous lost that caused by alien invasive species. In order to predict and analyze the potential geographical distributions of these two alien invasive species. Surveys were carried out in China during 2008.7.~2010.7.Maximum entropy niche-based modeling(MAXENT)were implemented by using our distribution records and the GBIF database of two species and a set of environmental predictor variables(Precipitation of driest quarter, Mean temperature of coldest quarter, Precipitation of coldest quarter, etc). The MAXENT prediction outcomes indicated that both two species have broadly larger potential distribution area in China. The highly suitable distribution areas for Lithobates catesbeianus include Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan. Most areas in southern China are highly suitable distribution areas for Trachemys scripta. Effective measures must be taken by governments to protect these areas and others from invasion. Surveys revealed that Lithobates catesbeianus prey on Hoplobatrachus tigerinus, Fejervarya limnocharis, Pelophylax nigromaculatus. Trachemys scripta eat a variety of native animals and plans.
